This year’s Desiring God Conference is Calvin in the Theatre of God. I think our denomination has lost something very serious in the caricatures that most Anglicans/episcopalians give for John Calvin. During my time in seminary, students would hiss whenever Calvin’s name was mentioned. More than anything it shows our great and willful ignorance that we would scorn one of the greatest thinkers in the West so that we would not even read his works. Here are a group of scholars giving their viewpoints on why Calvin can be appreciated today. Enjoy!
